REFUND POLICY

If you cancel your entry

Measured against the scheduled race day of the chapter you entered:

• 30 days or more before race day — full refund of the entry fee, less the non-recoverable payment-gateway charge (see below).
• Between 30 and 7 days before race day — 50% of the entry fee is refunded.
• Within 7 days of race day, or a no-show — no refund.

Payment-gateway charges

Card and UPI payments are processed by Razorpay, which charges a per-transaction fee that is not returned to us when a payment is refunded. That fee is non-refundable in every case, including full-refund cancellations, and is deducted from any amount returned to you.

Transfers instead of a refund

Up to 7 days before race day you may ask to transfer your entry to another edition of the same chapter, to a different chapter on the current season calendar, or to another runner, instead of taking a refund. Transfers are subject to availability and to our approval, and a difference in entry price may apply. A transferred entry is then governed by this policy from its new race day.

If we cancel or postpone a chapter

If BFAI cancels or reschedules a chapter — for weather, safety, permissions, or any circumstance beyond our reasonable control — you may choose a full refund of your entry fee or a transfer of your entry to the rescheduled date or another chapter. We cannot reimburse travel, accommodation, or other costs you may have incurred. See our cancellation policy for more.

How to request a refund

Email hello@bigfootadventuresindia.com from the address you registered with, quoting your booking ID and registered name. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 7–10 business days of approval, though your bank may take longer to reflect it.
